OVERVIEW

Chemical or Mechanical Engineer responsible for leading large projects involving product development, process improvement, large capital or developmental projects, along with strategic leadership in the manufacturing of paper related consumer goods. We have a philosophy of continuous product/process improvement which requires frequent changes to production equipment and additions of new manufacturing lines.


DESCRIPTION

- Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes

- Help with the design of plant equipment and processes

- Design, plan and implement plant layouts

- Lead a team to develop new equipment and improve existing equipment


REQUIREMENTS

> 5 - 20 years related experience

> Bachelors degree; Chemical Engineering, BSME or related

> MUST HAVE tissue manufacturing or converting experience

> Must have had prior leadership responsibilities

> Must have proven, successful project management experience

> Must have research experience

> TRAVEL...up to 50%...


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

* Process optimization and process control aptitude
* Knowledge of practical statistical process control in an industrial environment
* Knowledge of quality systems
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes
* Effective Communication Skills
* Customer Focus when dealing with internal and external customers
