DescriptionA Consumer Products company near Atlanta is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to perform a variety of engineering assignments in implementing and developing processing/production methods to meet quality standards.
Job duties include:
- Manage multiple projects, completing on time to hand off to manufacturing
- Be a liaison between product and manufacturing engineering, equipment suppliers and customer support
- Effectively communicate thoughts and ideas thoroughly to management
- Resolve problems, recommend and implement improvements
- Prepare drawings and schematics to determine feasibility of product proposals
Requirements:
A BS in engineering, along with a stable job history (recently employed) is required; a quality background would be a plus. Must be able to conduct time studies to update engineering standards; have strong analytical skills; Microsoft Excel expertise; Lean Manufacturing; experience with AutoCAD and CNC.
