Excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Rep at a successful, privately held specialty products manufacture in Southwestern Michigan. The company sells products through both retail and wholesale distribution networks throughout the U.S. and Canada. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Rep will work closely with plant personnel at all levels to ensure successful outcomes.
The customer support representative will be responsible for answering customer phone calls, managing warranty claims and issues, maintaining customer databases, order entry, tracking orders for shipment, and more. This position requires a person who is very friendly and able to deal with difficult situations in a calm and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in a customer support position. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, are required, experience with processing orders through EDI is a plus.
