Management Business Solutions is actively seeking a Fleet Compliance Specialist for a distribution company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all administrative duties for the Fleet department and must be able to administrate high visibility takes.
Answer and direct any calls for the Fleet department.
Administer gas card program and ICE billing and assist with quoting.
Coordinate the use of fleet vehicles for Company employees.
Ensure all DOT accounts have excellent ratings and assist with keeping the company ready for DOT audits.
Provide and maintain complete and accurate Driver Qualification Files.
Maintain DOT Accident Register and coordinate and perform annual MVR runs.
Track all vehicle inspection reports, issue rewards earned, and pass along discipline issues to the HR Manager.
Assist with administering claims and assist with creation and maintenance of DOT and fleet-related policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Assist Human Resources with various functions including coordinating the Driver and Driver Supervision training, tracking ICE time off usage and administering the Safe Driver Award program.
Provide general administrative assistance for the Fleet department, including ordering supplies, making copies, data entry, and filing.
High School Diploma required.
One year of related experience required.
Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and requirements required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and DOT/fleet-related software required.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
