Opportunity Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of a privately held $30MM custom packaging company the Global Packaging Sales Specialist will be responsible for both new business development and account management throughout the U.S. and Canada with the support of an extensive marketing presence and global name awareness. For more than 25 years the company mission has been to provide high quality custom packaging solutions to their global customer base in the food, cosmetics, medical, and automotive industries.   • Provides quality leadership for company's internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding company values at all times: inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements, and inspiring others.
  • Achieves revenue and profitability quotas for company products as they are sold into all customer segments.
  • Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth.
  • Be a solutions provider that brings value-added solutions to customers.
  • Responsible for the region’s forecasting and sales tracking.
  • Proactively and continually source, collect, develop and manage all new and existing leads, markets, prospects and client.
  • Travel as assigned to trade shows, site visits, on-site demonstrations, etc.
  • Document and exchange all transactions, reports and lead status information into the company’s CRM system (Salesforce.com) as designated by procedure and your manager.
  • Qualify, analyze and forecast sales opportunities.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.

  • 4 year degree in Business, Marketing or similar degree program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with print and flexible films.
  • Self-motivated, excellent written skills, verbal communication and strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills as well as very strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A do what it takes mentality to make things happen for the customers. 
  • Must be proficient in MS Office software including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • ERP system experience a plus.
