Currently looking for a 1st shift Maintenance Supervisor for a prominent food product manufacturer.
We manufacture prepared, refrigerated foods supplying food service and grocery retail. This site employs 300, 3-shift operation, 5 day week, 150k sq. ft. plant.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor - Food Production:
Planning and schedule the maintenance department and maintain the PM program, corrective maintenance work orders, repairs
and minor capital projects through contractors.
Develop and maintain a Master Preventative Maintenance Schedule to work with production and with the available mechanic and contractor resources.
Develop PM check sheets for production and support equipment.
Coordinate ordering of parts inventory requirements for new equipment.
Work with the plant Production Planner / Scheduler to coordinate equipment availability.
Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management software, inputs and outputs.
Meet weekly with operations to schedule priorities.
Provide analytical and Completed Work Order reports for management.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisor:
5+ years’ experience in maintenance in a processed foods or meat industry.
5 years’ supervisory or management experience.
Purchasing, inventory control experience.
Working knowledge of FDA or USDA regulations.
Technical competencies include:
Boilers, Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic systems and NH3 refrigeration.
