As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for full, cradle to grave, project management. This is a hands on role and we are looking for an expertise in design, new product development, and tooling. You will work on new projects from concept to commercialization and need to have a strong understanding in design for manufacturability. Using the stage-gate process you will lead project execution and ensure on-time completion, customer expectations, and more. This is a critical role that is responsible for timely and successful projects through interaction with customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and external vendors. This role will report to the Vice President of Product and Continuous Improvement Engineering.
To be successful in this role:
  • Technical degree in Engineering or similar – Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, etc.
  • 5+ years in a plastics manufactured products – Injection Molding, Blow Molding, etc.
  • 3+ years experience in hands on design with Solidworks or other 3D CAD programs
  • True problem solver with proven success in product change management
  • Experience in hands on training and implementation
Location – This position will be based in one of their largest facilities in Northern New York. This a beautiful area, known for a much lower cost of living and located right on a beautiful lake which allows for great outdoor family activities, but close to Burlington, VT for a beautiful city area.
