Ecolink is a younger technology Company in Carlsbad, CA that is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Universal Electronics, Inc. Our company focuses mainly on designing and manufacturing wireless security and automation sensors for the residential and commercial markets. Our sensors are sold to OEM customers, to the professionally installed security industry, as well as sensors sold directly to consumers through online and retail channels.
We are looking for a team player that is comfortable working in a fast paced environment. The person in this position will have to be comfortable juggling multiple projects at a time and dealing with our factories overseas as well as our design group here in the US. Our work environment strives to be startup in culture, with the required structure we must implement as a subsidiary of a publicly traded company.

Project Manager Job Duties
Project management responsibilities include delivering every projects on time and within budget as projected. The overall responsibilities include managing overall direction of projects from concept to completion of factory production release.
Ecolink project managers typically work with many cross functional groups from internal Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Firmware Engineers, Manufacturing, Marketing, as well as third party vendors that include FCC, UL, and others.
Manage technical projects having a defined beginning and end.
Plan, coordinate and monitor scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff and deliverables for multiple projects.
Organize and leads activities relating to the management and completion of projects.
Apply advanced business process and analysis concepts and organizational objectives to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
BS/BA degree a must, Technical degree a plus
Prefer experience working in a project management role but not required
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with ability to learn to work easily on other platforms
