Business Development Executive

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years progressive sales, consulting and/or industry experience to this role, ideally from top-tier professional services firm; where they have developed relevant experience through consulting engagements in Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Performance Improvement, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse/DC Optimization, or Logistics. You will bring a proven track record of business development success, operational excellence, and keen strategic thinking as well as a strong understanding of the consultative sales approach.
Ideally, this executive will have proven business development skills that have grown over the years, and now are refined, so they will feel comfortable selling an intangible consulting service to other CEO-level executives. They must be able to connect at the C-level, having the understanding and knowledge themselves of issues in running a $250M plus company.
This is a hunting role. We seek a candidate who has had success in a high profile business development role. You must have a demonstrated record of selling at the highest level. These consulting assignments start at $1 million, with most being much larger.
This individual must be able to operate at a boardroom level, have an excellent executive presence, and the drive/energy to succeed in selling consulting services.
Compensation will be very high.with total earnings in the $350K-500K range being the norm. We must see strong sales skills in their executive background, the desire for success selling an intangible service at the highest level, and the personality, drive, and ambition to join a small, elite group that operates at this level within a highly regarded firm.
