Description LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY>>>>> or renters. Manage Cost Improvement Program. Identify & implement plant improvements, expansion projects, bottling & packaging systems optimization, process changes, & new technologies to increase productivity, enhance mfg flexibility, improve prodt quality & ensure environmental compliance. Provide project mgmt on multi-million dollar capital projects. Resp for scope definition, capital cost estimates, investment justification, system design, cost value analysis, equipment design specs, development of engineering design specs and supervision of outside consulting engrg firms and contractors. Manage project installation/construction, start-up, commissioning & effective transfer of technology & training to plant operating personnel. Prepare capital cost estimates , financial feasibility, capital risk and ROI/NPV for new equipment, construction & modification to existing operations & systems. Provides technical engrg consultation, assistance, & leadership to plant personnel on bottling/packaging/material handling/processing operations. MUST have plt engrg in food, beverage , chemical, or consumer prodts somewhere in their background. . This is not someone wholl come out of an assembly, automotive...itll be someone from a processing background. Co is profitable. About 120 employees here. The clients hot buttons are continuous improvement, wastewater mgmt, energy mgmt, CAP X & ROI proposals, high volume. Supervise one project engineer. Its described as an entrepreneurial type of an environment.....self-starter...not large, bureaucratic, everything done by committee type. Reports to Plant Mgr. Up to this point, the candidates have tended to be over-qualified & this is definitely hands-on.
