DescriptionGeneral Summary:
Directs and oversees day to day warehouse functions / activities including receiving, inventorying, issuing, and shipping raw materials and finished goods required to attaining established efficiency / productivity requirements, while ensuring overall product quality standards FDA, MDD, and other applicable regulatory / statutory or ISO requirements are achieved for new and existing products and materials. Will also manage all off-site storage activities with or without 3rd party logistics partners, including logistics, inventory management, resolution of IT / customer service issues and routine metric reporting.
Requirements:
*5+ years of warehouse experience with at least 2 years of supervisory / management experience in manufacturing environment.
*Managed, negotiated and fully understand all details of inbound and outbound freight.
*Understands Custom Regulations, Codes and Duties.
*Have started up or been part of bringing a DC on line. Have been responsible for running the DC.
*Have researched, implemented and ran 3-PL.
*Have strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management.
*Experience with Kanban, JIT of in-house stocking programs.
* Have conducted full physical inventory and regular cycle counts.
* Is bi-lingual in Spanish and English. (not required but desired)
